Welcome Jack.

I'm from the UK originally, been in Oz for less than 6 months, and bought an ST1100 recently too.

Do Jocks count as Poms too?

Welcome from the West Jack, :hatwave

As you've already found out, they're a strange mob here but their hearts are in the right place. :cuss

Enjoy your time here. If you've got any questions about the bike, feel free to ask. Someone will know the answer. Don't think that your question might be a silly one, we'd rather take the p155 out of you for a short time and hear that everything's ok than hear that you've come 'unstuck' over something.

PS. I'm originally from Birkenhead (near Liverpool)

Howdy Jack from the ACT (and previously Victoria).  Scots definitely are not poms, as I come from good Cameron stock on one side of the family (the other side is Irish so no Pom there as well!)  One thing you will find is that bikes don't rot away like they do in the UK unless you are close to the sea all the time.

G'day Jack (Jock!!????) - welcome aboard.

Have fun reading through this website as it can:

- make you cry
- make you laugh
- save you a fortune
- give you counselling that someone has already done it badder and worse!
- ensure when you're in the 'dog house' you still have online friends that 'understand'
- provide invaluable info on your upcoming purchases
- waste many hours a night and deteriorate your relationship with the words 'Are you on that bloody computer again!!!!!?'
- help you 'find' yourself with like-minded maniacs
- provide hours of leisure pleasure

So there! You have been warned!

Great to meet you Jack. Post regularly to keep in contact. Ask anything you want to know. Welcome.

Cheers, Diesel

I wonder who will be the first to install a head-up display so they can monitor OzSTOC on the bike??
