I went on a short ride today with five mates, through some previously unexplored backroads in the Adelaide Hills, to the Cudlee Cafe at Cudlee Creek. What a wonderful name. The Cafe is a regular stopover for motorcyclists and cyclists who are riding the famous Gorge Road. Food and coffee was good, and there's a decent playground for kids. Unfortunately I didn't take a camera, and if I get back there in the winter, there's a massive fire pit outside, as well as plenty of room inside. Babette Wilkinson, the owner, is a keen motorcyclist.
See http://thecudleecafe.com.au/ (http://thecudleecafe.com.au/) for some info about the cafe

Great stuff. I've always seen bikes there, but have never been in myself.

I always saw bikes at Cudlee Creek Restaurant Tavern https://goo.gl/maps/Y9GdKp3ckro but don't remember the The Cudlee Café name; though having seen the location we have only gone past it.

It's around 2 or three km east of the Tavern. Scan a short distance to the right on your supplied Google Map link and you'll see it. :thumb

They do great coffee and the servings are a decent size. Very friendly people and I always stop there if riding in the area

I know where it is just have never seen the need to stop anywhere close to what was once near home; Reynella East or over the other side at Smithfield Plains.
Last time we went past the Cudlee Café was when we had the Stanley Bridge Tavern RTE - not that I knew what it was back then https://goo.gl/maps/DDpDJHAhDhk
