Title: Penrith ride

Went for ride to Penrith with Wilko & (ring in Luke)went down via Katoomba m tea at mtn pies We went to mca at Penrith to buy some gear then home vie bells line arvo tea at pie in the sky good ride plenty of bikes out & about also saw blue st1300 twice on way down & on way home great day  :wht11 :hatwave

That would be me that you saw. Got abandoned by the family so went for an explore out to Sofala. Would strongly recommend it to all.
Penrith to Lithgow via Bells
head towards Mudgee
Take a Left at Ilford
 Lunch at Sofala
Head to bathurst for a lap of the mountain (the wrong way round if you are game)
Then Home

About 5 hours worth

I did Bells Line of Road last year and the first of two laps of Bathurst was the wrong way as I didn't realize it was the wrong way until about half way through so I finished it, turned around and did it the correct way.
