Well i just brought my first ST1100 in a blue colour. Its a 96 Model with 138000kms on the dial.
I ahve ridden bikes for too long but ad a veryt long tiime off them.
Looked for something that i can cruise around and do some trip on and I would have loved the 1300 but couldn't get one I could afford.
Saying that this one cost me $2000./. I'm pretty stoked. With what I saved if there is anything wrong i can use my saving to get it fixed... hopefully. lol
So ii'm nearly 48 live in country vic and have family blah blah blah...
Looking to get out on the roads and do some nice touring with my camera and gear and camp over night in nice places and take pics too my hearts content. then go back to work Mondays and try it all again the following weekend.. if I'm lucky enough and the boss lets me..lol
I will post a pic when I pick the bike up waiting for transfer papers to be done this week hopefully
Hope to get to know a few of you over time and safe riding..

Welcome Flubby. By now you will have heard about the timing belt change. There's enough info on the Forum to do the job yourself if you've got a screwdriver and multi-grips.

Saved me bringing it up.
No rush though but should be done no later than 150,000km - best also to inspect the hoses that go under the carbs at the same time.
