Title: 03-04-2018 Camera Anti Vibration Mount
Post by: alans1100 on April 03, 2018, 11:20:14 PM
Just bought an anti vibration mount for my GO Pro. Hope it arrives before the Glendambo ride in May

Seems to work ok on this guys bike https://youtu.be/SnMP81pcMWU (https://youtu.be/SnMP81pcMWU)

This is the complete item (but not the quad copter it's attached to) which I'll rotate 180 degree and mount on top of one of the driving lights.

I placed a Go Pro stick on mount on the LH driving light but to much vibration and hoping what I bought will cure most of it.

That looks like a great solution. It's a problem that caused me to stop faffing around with the camera on the bike. Might try again, thanks to you for the inspiration.

I prefer the cam on the bike unless I go to the city where it's better on the helmet.

The trailer is another option which I've tried with Heather's cheap generic Go Pro style cam but I didn't get much video as I mistakenly put a 4GB mini SD card in it instead of the 32GB one I intended to. 4GB doesn't last to long with 1080p.

I prefer my camera on the bike as well.  I find on the inside of the screen gives the least vibration, but you don't see much when riding into the sun.
