The only problem I see, is that in Oz the sidecar wheel isnt driven, so the off road capability will be somewhat reduced.

Yes I did pick that up but it would just be a little more challenging.
Maybe when they bring out an electric sidecar it would be easier to drive the sidecar wheel for righthand drive ones as well as maybe the front wheel then you would really have an interesting go anywhere sidecar.

A mate had one in the 1970's. and back then they were called Cossacks. I remember it a a very solid but unreliable motorcycle, much like the 1948 BSA I was riding at the time. :rofl

I would hate to do a quality test on those roads on a Honda ST1100/1300 :think1 :fp

I notice they're boxer engines.
:think1 I wonder if there's a more modern version that someone on the forum may want to try that sort of testing out.
Would be a good chance to see how the more modern CANsmart with the added spotties handles the conditions. :grin

:crackup I have no doubt that a more modern and complex version would quickly drown. It's interesting that the latest GS is the same engine and electronics as my RT, and I really wonder how robust the electronic systems really are the off road BMWs.
