Hi all my name is peter from Melbourne I am waiting to pick up my st1100 2002 in the next few days.
I all have a cruiser but sold a super sport bike, so looking forward to doing some long rides and meeting new people along the way

Well done on picking up the last of the ST1100 models.  You've got a smooth, comfortable ride there, after the sports bike.  It won't rip your arms off, but it won't do your wrists and back any damage after a day in the saddle either.

Yeah that was the thing with the sport bike after an hour I wanted off

Hi Peter,

 G'day from the Radelaide Hills.

The ST1100 is a great bike, got a 2000 plus a 2008 ST1300.

A fantastic & welcoming site as your finding out.

Hope to see you at an RTE or next year at the National Rally in Tasmania.
