That's excellent- a couple of new ones there for me, including saccades blocking items. Pilots intentionally use saccades to scan the sky, but overlap them so there are no blank spots.

We were taught to move our head from side to side to break tunnel vision after an intense confrontation, to ensure we could see any further threat off to the side. It's something I now do on the bike, as it's easy to get lazy and just move eyes to look around.
