Hey Leo & fellow OzSTocers... all good here at Mackay... a bit hairy at work today passing through the fire and smoke areas along the Peak Downs Hwy... with 52000Lts of Dieso on board... the Eungella/Finch Hatton area has taken a bit of a beating, with much of the area from Finch Hatton, right up to Eungella (The Chalet, Goodes Lookout and the township), being directly effected and having to be evacuated... we don't yet know how much of the area has been burned.... maybe in a few weeks time, we'll take a ride up to Goodes Lookout and let you know how things have changed. Cheers, John & Kate.

Good to hear John & Kate, glad I got there in October.
When we rode up in October there had been extensive fires through the Marlborough region. They'd be glad now that all that fuel has gone.
