The biggest bug bear is that it is a ling weekend, with double the fun points.
Not that I condone or speed myself, however, I do like to qualify in the top three at least.

See ewes there.

Still not sure if I'll go Friday and stay the night somewhere, over the rainbow. Could be a song in that!

Or ride there in the morn and home again.
Depends on what my slow moving friend has to say. (Turtle) :crackup

There are some options.
Perth, Wubin, Magnet, Leinster, Leonora, Menzies to Kal. 1237km.

Or Magnet to Meeka then Leinster etc 1485km.
All I need now are servos. That's on my to do list.

Your second option was dirt road from Meeka to Wiluna but sealed to Leinster the last time I was over that way. But there was talk of sealing from Wiluna to either Meeka or the Neds track which comes out a few kms south of Kumarina Road House.

From memory there was a 24 hour at Magnet (truck Stop), BP at Leinster which would to get me into Kal but I generally topped up at Leonora. There's three servo's at Meeka and one at Menzies if it's still open. I used to stop there for a feed.

This was my route Port Hedland/Karratha to Adelaide and return for 4 trips on the bike.

Hope that helps a little

The ride to Leonora, Menzies and Kalgoorlie you will be competing with push bikes. There is the annual Chas Egan Memorial ride along the same highway . Have a safe ride!
