Title: Sydney to Townsville Overnight stop

I'm taking a customer's car from Sydney all the way to Townsville on Monday going inland.

Can anyone suggest somewhere to stay at around the half way point or around 11 hours from Sydney.

Roma?
I've driven to Townsville heaps of times, (admittedly from South Gippsland) and found Dubbo & Roma were good stops with similar distances needed to travel each day.
In your case, Google maps says Roma is roughly around the 1000k mark from Sydney.
From memory it's pretty much the same distance to Townsville...  ++
