Title: Melbourne to Mullewa.

Morning all and greetings from WA :hatwave. After Flinders Ranges we have been meandering our way west and having a great time along the way. Currently in Balladonia with some decent internet coverage. Next stop is Southern Cross then Hyden and York. Hope to meet up with Yorkie in York and visit the motor museum, then on to Perth Geraldton and Mullewa.
The ST has been performing flawlessly, indicated fuel consumption average is 15.6 km/litre, calculated is 16.8 km/lt. Still happy with that considering the bike is heavily loaded with everything bar the kitchen sink.

Bike will be due for an oil change on our return to Perth and I was wondering if any kind member in the area would have space, driveway to do this. Will need a suitable receptacle and somewhere to dispose the used oil.

Hi JD,
If you get to Geraldton , I am only  another 50 kilometers north again , at Northampton. I have a well equipped workshop and plenty of tools, and unused space as well as some guest accommodation which you will be welcome to make use of if you should desire.
It would be great to meet you as I have followed many of your posts.

Thanks Winston66, that’s extremely kind of you, we are in Geraldton on the 1st and 2nd Oct. Plan to visit Mullewa on 2nd , so either suits. Let me know what time is good for you. Would be great to meet you too.

Seems like that you will be in Gero , Tuesday, Wed. Next week. I do  plan to be at home at that time so if you want to call in ,if you have the time you will be most welcome, and do not forget that there is a bed , etc, here if needed. Also the workshop is there if needed .

Nothing unusual for skippy while we were in Karratha.

Quite off skippy would be on the road along here when I was on the way home from work at 10:15 pm - at 60 kph its ok but one night there was one in the roundabout which is not a good place to hit the brakes at the best of times.
