Interesting info about a new way to use gps coordinates. Read article below about a rescue on Flinders Island.
It looks like it could be very useful where the is phone coverage. A grid  of 3 metre squares covers the globe. Each having a unique 3 word “address”

Eg popped.vote.sums is in the park near our place. It is accurate and simple and cheap.
There is so much new technology around and sorting the wheat from the chaff is difficult. I think this has a lot of potential.


It wont replace Spot for me but it could be very useful.

Wow!  That's amazing.  I hope the Chinese are happy using English words!  Wuhan is ///windows.magma.slicer.  Who could imagine there would be that many permutations of the English vocabulary?  There are 70 squares on our little house block alone, all with distinct words!   :eek
Changing the order of three of the words takes me to the middle of Russia.

No billions, to old to brandish anything except a big stick.. Plenty of waitresses around but..
