Hey there, thanks for accepting me into the group. I've been riding for 45 years and have done most of the work on all my bikes but the ST1300 is a whole new ballgame! I'm trying to avoid spending shitloads on bike services so here I am attempting to DIY. I bought my ST1300A brand new in 2008, (red, my favourite colour) and have been enjoying it ever since. The time has come for me to delve deeper into the inner workings of the bike and see if I can do the required maintenance myself, which has brought me to this forum. I live in Hervey Bay Qld, with my wife of 30 years who also enjoys bike riding (as a pillion only). I'm keen to start this learning journey and so it begins..... :dred11

Another lucky Red ST13 owner!
If you're up for a bit of a ride (maybe an overnighter) there's a maintenance workshop coming up on the northside of Brisbane- see here:

Apart from that, most of the things you can do yourself are described on the Forum, with photos.
