Title: Ridden on rider
Post by: Shillas on October 23, 2021, 11:29:05 PM
Putting this here as it doesn't fit in with the ridden on category for members.

She wasn't an OzSTOC member, but a colleague who loved talking to me about her bike and her rides in the work kitchen.

Maggie was hit while riding her pushbike on Friday morning in a 100 kmh zone at Murray Bridge, not far from her home. She was left with massive brain injuries and later declared brain dead.

Its never easy when a friend/acquaintance moves on before time. Its never easy for any reason, and I'm getting to the point in life, where a lot of friends are just about time expired.

May she rest in peace

It's very sad to hear that Maggie was a colleague, which makes her loss felt so much more deeply.   Take care.....  P 'n C

Is this the one on Brinkley Road?  Condolences to all concerned, and for the motorcyclist who lost his life on Old Norton Summit Road, Teringie yesterday.

Michael,

That is sad news.

Having lost several colleagues over the years, I know how hard it can be, especially when you have a shared interest.

Riders become like family too.

Sincere condolences to you, and Maggie's family.
