Title: Blokesworld on Seven plus

I've started watching episodes of this again.

The original few series was very 'blokey' orientated. A mix of motorcycles, muscle cars, girls in varying states of undress & sh*t music.

Started watching Series 6 - Road to Thailand. Mainly off-road trail riding through Thailand to Burma. Some good riding trails - nothing an ST could handle, but same sh*t music & lost the muscle cars and girls of previous programs.

Worth a watch to realise I doubt I could ever hope to ride some of that. Also worth viewing to see some of the near misses they had.

Maybe if there were some easier rides, I'd do this once the world opens up again. My off road experience is fairly limited to on property rounding up livestock.

You should talk to Pezz, he has been leading tours through India and the Himalaya's since around 2016 riding Royal Enfields.

I was looking at something similar as a stop-over on the way back from the UK & EU in 2020, but COVID got in the way.  The plan was to meet some mates at some place (don't remember where now) in the "foothills" at around 10,000ft, and (again from memory) the 10 to 12 day ride went over mountain passes at altitudes of something like 14,000ft or 15,000ft.

Looking back this would have been foolish (for me) as when in the US of A, we had early stages of altitude sickness at 11,500ft.

I can't even imagine surviving this sort of altitude.
