I had every plan of being there. However, some dreaded lurgi gave me dizzy spells, Bali belly for 24 hours on Thursday, and incredible fatigue.

I have had a change of plans
Daughter has just moved house so we put holidays to Mooloolaba on hold for 2 weeks
Today weather doesn't look good for a ride
So I will give the  RTE a miss today

Hi fellas, we (VIC, SA & QLD) all have RTE's today. I'll see if I can organise a Facetime call at around 1:30pm VIC time, 1:00pm SA time, 12:30pm QLD time.  I've just gotta remember / workout how to do a Facetime call.

I'll be a tri-State virtual RTE, maybe a first?

Carrol and I had a great day out.
Due to the storms in the area Carrol wanted us to take the car so darkwing stayed at home.

We traveled through some heavy rain and made it to the café. Out the back they have a big pond with ducks making for a nice view.

We met up with DBfive and Jill and after a while were joined by DaleAP, niftynev19, Timbo, and Gadget.

Everyone headed inside and had a good chat before ordering some lunch. A little later we were joined by Ray and Courtney with their baby.

Everyone appeared to have a good feed and a great time chatting and catching up and after a while everyone headed home, those that came on bikes headed out over the mountain.

Thanks for organizing this, Shiney, had an awesome Burger and Chips for Lunch. Good conversation, great location and not too far to come on a rainy day. First wet ride on the GW, handled it like it should with no dramas. It was mostly dry over Mt Mee heading home. I had Tim and Dale on my tail all the way up, so hopefully I wasn't too slow for them.
I'm thinking up a Nickname for the Goldwing. I'm thinking 'Winnie' the Winnebago. Seems appropriate.
