I was pulling the tupperware off my son's ST1300 today, and found a very creative, probably permanent, and somewhat complex, solution to the loss of the little covers by the knees that disappear, usually behind you at high speed in places where you can't turn around. Still retained by the same pin clip as original, but never going to break the lugs off these. They were covered in old black contact plastic sheet, and I have now cleaned them up (as seen here) and given them a hit with the matt black rattle can paint.

It wasn't me although those "welds" do look a bit like mine...lol. :whistle
Nah, if I was gonna make some I'd be making them from aluminium... :grin
