Hi all,
looks like a great place to hang out and look forward to contributing.
I'm still a novice rider, having started on a dirt bike, I had a go on my old mans 91 ST1100 and couldn't get the smile off my face.
So when my uncle was selling his Blue 93 ST1100 I took it for a ride and bought it no hesitation.
Only had it now for 5 weeks but couldn't be happier. Even took the wife shopping for a Lid and jacket so she can come along too. If we can just pry the kids into the side panniers it's happy days :-) Wish I had more time to ride, but at least I can enjoy the days I do.
The bike still runs really well, even though it had been sitting in a garage for 3 years and seldom used (tragedy). So after I bought it I had the bike thouroughly looked over, all lubes etc replaced, radiator flushed, timimg belt (had done just on 153k km) valve clearances (replacing 2 shims). Now she purrs.
There are louder pipes on it which makes it sound goooood. I'll get around to taking some more pics ASAP and share.

PS.. Living in Toowoomba (Highfields). My old man also is up this way and rides a 91 ST1100 so always looking for a chance to get away. Happy to meet up with other members of the like.

Great score there RuSTy - great to see her having a gallop once again.
Take care out there, and come and say "G'day" sometime soon on an OzSTOC Run.
Need/want to know anything - just ask. :thumb
Thanks for the intro. :thumbsup
