Well, I work out at Brisbane Airport and ride a Blue ST1300 to work and back most weekdays.
I rode a farm bike and drove tractors as a kid.
I spent 14 years in the Army where I got my trade of Electronics and subsequently Calibration Technician. I spent a couple of years seconded to the RAAF base at Richmond in the early 1990's.
I didn't get my bike licence until 2006 and got my first bike (a Yamaha V-star 650) in 2007.
Late November last year I bought the ST 1300, for all it's great built-in features and an added bonus was this bike came with Cruise Control.
I'm running Michelin Pilot Road 3's front and rear and am super-impressed with the performance in Wet and Dry.
I enjoy social riding too, and have been riding with The Social Club of Australia on and off since September 2007.
Anyway hope to se you on a ride someday.
Cheers,
Gadget

Have you seen the post about the Esk Bakery Run on the 23rd? No doubt there will be some going from Brissy by various routes, why not come along???
