Well think about this, with a lower centre of gravity I think my Goldwing is more stable than my ST1300 both at speed and when stopped. I have actually dropped the 1300 just going onto the centre stand. It would also help riders with shorter legs.
At 73 my long term riding plans are my sidecar when Theresa is with me (as well as often when by myself) and either landing gear or a Tilting Motorworks conversion for my solo Goldwing. Eventually the ST1300 will go to someone who will put it to good use.

It was just a suggestion...if you are happy to spend what must be many thousands of dollars for that setup, then go for it. :thumbs
