I have torn my bicep
Doctor said at my age just leave it alone so don't know if I need to get a second opinion
But at this stage I can still do most things with caution

Count me in Shiney, Angie is a maybe, see how brave she is on the day to travel on the GW...  :tongue:
Front forks rebuilt with no leaks (Yippie) and had a look at the Rear Shock Pre-Load Actuator which was bone dry of all fluid. Topped it up, pumped out the air, found I've got a leak at the Shock end of the Pre-Load. For now, rear shock is working again. Will see how long it takes for all fluid to drain out. Thought the bike sat low when all this time I've had it.  :tongue:

Higgins have just posted pics of brisbane valley highway cut by floodwater May go down by tomorrrow  Best to check road closures people

Diagular Highway is still open. Angie is working today, so it'll just be me. I was going to take the ST, but checking the rear Tyre, it needs replacing. So, I'll be on the GW instead. Expecting to get wet though.

When we left home, the sky was overcast, but the rain had stopped.
During the trip to the RTE, it rained on and off, but nothing heavy (the temperature was great, though) :grin

We arrived quite early, but we're still beaten by Niftynev19 and Timbo, who had arrived even earlier :hatwave

After a bit, we were joined by DaleAP and later DavidP & Lane.

We had a nice feed and a chat, and then when the latest lot of rain had cleared, we headed off for home.

A few minutes out, it began to rain and didn't stop till we got home, but it was still an enjoyable ride.

All in all, it was a great day out, we had a good ride and enjoyed some great company and food.
I'm looking forward to the next RTE :hatwave

Was good to catch-up with(and horrify  :eek ) a few people.
Slacked out and took the car as was raining at home and rained a lot of the way in.

I took the car because it was pouring at home and was only briefly dry at a couple of spots.

The drive up was infuriatingly slow due to several drivers doing 20 to 40 km under the speed limit in areas where there were no overtaking permitted.

The rain ceased just long enough to show off the 2 new Lightshows in the car, which came as part of the Christmas Eve software update.

Had a nice lunch and a great chat.

The trip home was a little better as the weather had improved, and there were only 2 slower drivers, and I caught them just a couple of km before overtaking lanes.

Thanks to all who made it, as your attendance made it a great day.
