Well tomorrow I head of on my longest ride since my off in Adelaide in 2018
I have 3 mates heading off to the super bikes at Phillip Island
Not being a huge super bike fan but wanting to do another ride to Victoria to ride over some of my favourite places. So another 3 mates and myself are heading to Lakes Entrance
With the body not up to the big days anymore
Day 1 Ride to Uralla
Day 2 Ride to Singleton
Day 3 Ride via the Putty Road, Bells Line Rd, OberOberon onto Goldburn
Day 4 Ride past Canberra to Cooma Bombala onto Cann River before heading to Lakes Entrance
This is where we part way with the 3 Phillip Island mates
4 of us heading towards home
Day 4 Ride back to Cann River Eden Bega staying somewhere in this area
Day 5 Ride to Corryong to meet up with Robs Sydney mates
Day 6 This is where I am not sure if we are staying 1 or more nights riding around the hills
Day 9 Ride up to Bendemeer
Day 10 Head for Toowoomba to start to prepare for the 2025 National Rally
This ride is subject to weather and road conditions

Day 4 is a biggun.
Having just researched accommodations options for our Road from Toowoomba, we've settled on the Bellbird Hotel Motel at Bellbird Creek (d'oh!). https://maps.app.goo.gl/dJtFJJXTmDynvQaT8 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/dJtFJJXTmDynvQaT8)
Good reports, but no website or Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bellbird%20Hotel/196302713898949, (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bellbird%20Hotel/196302713898949,) which only an unofficial page), hard to find a 'phone number, finally found a mobile no. 0420 554 522 for the publican, Gary. He doesn't like to talk on the 'phone, just SMS. Anyways, I've booked for 4 at $50 each for the night, about average $$ for our ride to and from.

Yeah, Goulburn to Lakes Entrance around 508km, but then Cann River - 640km, Eden - 749km, Bega - 803km.
.... Day 4 Ride back to Cann River Eden Bega staying somewhere in this area ...
I thought this meant that accommodation hadn't been sorted in this area.
All the best with the ride. See you in Toowoomba, we can chat after a few beers and then there won't be any confusion.

.... Mallacoota for coffee and a sausage roll a lot of work going on in main street with road works ....
Mallacoota, nice spot. It was hit pretty hard in the 2019 /2020 bushfires, as was much of East Gippsland and SE NSW, but Mallacoota particularly hard, road (only one in and out) cut off, many tourists (a niece and her family amongst them) had to be evacuated by sea. Niece's husband and my brother-in-law had to wait until mid-year, between VIC COVID lock downs, to retrieve their car.
Took a long while (perhaps still ongoing) for Mallacoota to recover. Yeah, a nice place, pity it's so far away.

.... We hope to get away early and go to Guyra for breakfast....
Had a top breakfast at Guyra on the way to Wooli in 2017, a little café or road house on the right as you head north out of town, could have been this: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Rafters+Diner/@-30.2186428,151.6729441,3a,70.1y,38.96h,84.76t/data= (https://www.google.com/maps/place/Rafters+Diner/@-30.2186428,151.6729441,3a,70.1y,38.96h,84.76t/data=)!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sxF0Aip3GvH_3370_HJwodA!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fcb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile%26w%3D900%26h%3D600%26pitch%3D5.244697729682912%26panoid%3DxF0Aip3GvH_3370_HJwodA%26yaw%3D38.96298035364153!7i16384!8i8192!4m6!3m5!1s0x6b9f6ba1af921ce3:0xbdda51ad96fa8e73!8m2!3d-30.2186421!4d151.6732108!16s%2Fg%2F11v0rcwxq8?authuser=0&entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDIxOS4xIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D

Where's Chris when needed?
Whilst waiting for our order, filled in some time looking at pictorial record of Guyra snowfalls, it's amazing how much snow they've at times. Don't think that you'll need to worry though.
-
Yes that is where we will pull up
The Ampol Roadhouse North of Guyra
We are hoping to get on the road by 7.00
Maybe if Chris sees this he might meet for a coffee
Then top up with cheap fuel at Warwick
-
Day 10
We headed off from Uralla About 7.00
Headed to Guyra for breakfast at the Ampol Roadhouse
We had a bacon and egg burger and coffee
Road works I'm sick of roadworks
Traffic was overall very good
Then we headed to Wallangarra for a toilet stop then onto Warwick so could fill up on cheap fuel
Then mounted up for the final bit to home
Coming through Toowoomba fuel had dropped to the same as Warwick $1.67.9
I pulled up at my house at 12.00
Great ride and great riding mates
Till the next one :thumbsup
Next to get ready for the National Rally in 24 days :hatwave
