Title: Hello from Albury/Wodonga **update**

Update!  I have just purchased a lovely 2008 ST1300 and really looking forward to learning all about the bike, and trying to ride it as much as possible!

Hello everyone, I've joined up here as I have my heart set on a ST1300 (but the Fl 25, 26 has me scared) I live on the border between Melbourne and Sydney.
I haven't ridden for nearly 20 years, and back then it was a GSXR-750 and I lived in Melbourne, but living where I do now (near the Hume and right next to the Snowy Mountains etc) I have made some friends who also do some overnight touring, so It's time to get back in the saddle! Years ago a close mate bought an ST1100 (he still has it, but not using it) and I fell in love with it. so here I am!

I saw that, lovely looking bike Williamson, but well out of my price range, I'm hoping to stretch to a 2008 or newer but even that's going to be a task!

I'm waiting with baited breath on the results of a user called "CruSTy" in the US who is soon to try a post 2008 ECM un an older bike with an adapter loom - then Ill relax a bit more about the Fl 25/26

Maybe there will be a Ride to Eat or even a Rally in your area in the future...   :grin

The F1 code errors aren't that common, unless the bike has a history of them, it is probably a safe bet.*

* I have a 2008 with 210500 on the dial & no issues apart from standard wear & tear.
