So my bike suddenly started cutting out under acceleration, so I changed the plugs as this had cleared up a similar issue a year ago. No good.
I've gone through and replacd the coils, leads as well as the fuel pump (just to be sure). Whilst it's a bit better, it still cuts out when it gets to 4,500-5,000 rpm. It's a sudden cut-out and then re-fires just as suddenly with a large back-fire, so that shows fuel is still getting through. Would I be correct is thinking it's likely the Ignition Control Module?

No help from me, but is it an ST1100 or ST1300?

1100, hence why it's in the ST1100 section of the forums. :-)

1100...
Just wanted to be sure.
.... hence why it's in the ST1100 section of the forums. :-)
That's a bit too subtle for me.

OK, so the plot thickens.
Just fired it up in the garage and it idles and increases revs just fine, until 4,500 rpm and then it instantly shut off.
It seems to have tripped a fuse or relay somewhere as now the fuel pump and starter motor won't fire up. :||||
