Title: Wall to Wall ride
Post by: Rusty66 on August 04, 2025, 05:44:03 PM
Hey Guys and Gal's.

Just got the bike back together after a few Mod's to get it to my liking, with big thanks to members here for advice and parts, Almost there. Really looking forward to the Wall to Wall ride in September (leaving from Melbum), who else is going on the ride? Love to catch up...

Thanks again to everyone here that has helped (you know who you all are)!!

Post some details.  From memory, there's a number of starting points (from a number of capital cities) with the destination at Canberra.  But that's about all I know.

Is there a rough / suggested intinerary (over night stops, etc..), registration requirements, fee, etc...?

If the stars align, I'd be interested.  I've had previous invites, but never made it.  A previous invite was from a former VicPol chaplain (who has since disgraced himself, so enough said about that, for now).

It's $90 this year, and the same again for a pillion. Proceeds to your preferred Police Legacy charity.

Over 600km, further than I like to ride in one day these days, looks like my plans are not even gunna get off the ground.

If you can't attend the ride, you can always purchase a raffle ticket and go into the running to win a Yamaha MT09 motorcycle valued at $17,749...  :thumbsup
The odds on winning are pretty good with just 6,000 tickets being available for purchase.   :X

Mmmm ..... 6000 to 1, your idea and my idea (less than 10 to 1) of good odds are worlds apart.  Although a $10 outlay is small when the $$ go to a good cause.  But what do I want with another bike when I already have one too many for my needs.

You can always give it to me...and being the generous bloke that I am, I'll even give you your $10 back... :grin
