Looking for an electric windscreen part for a 2013 Honda ST1300. Wanting to avoid buying a complete electric screen mechanism (drive gear, motor, slide rails and worm drive are fine), as all I need is a slider block as per the attached pic.
Please let me know:
- If you have just a slider block that you're willing to part with.
- If you have a mechanism, what is the minimum you are willing to separate?

Bikequip still have a couple of the slider blocks available, Michael: https://www.st1300-accessories.co.uk/product-page/slider-block-screen-mech (https://www.st1300-accessories.co.uk/product-page/slider-block-screen-mech)
£70.00 including postage
You might have to forgo quite a few beers to pay for them though... :p

Yes, I'd checked the Bikequip site earlier and they are a fallback for me. In the meantime, I'm checking to see if someone local has something suitable and excess to their needs, and a little cheaper. It could be a win / win for us locals. I'm not very hopeful, but if I don't try, I don't know.

West Aussie Glen is parting out an ST. He was above and beyond helpful to me. I think any year ST's electric screen bits would be the same.

Yeah, some time ago now, latest post I found was 2020, most bits, including electric screen mechanism, gone. But I'm guessing he'll see my post and respond if he can help.
Re. the slider, I figure if I get a new one (from Bikequip) I may as well get a pair. Despite the extra cost ($250 to $260, depends on exchange rate at the time) as stripping and reassembly is a PIA (certainly something I'm not looking forward to again), I'm prepared to pay a little more if it saves me a bit of effort.
Having said that, completed mechanisms are in the order of $1000 or more. I'm not going to spend that sort of $$.
