Title: 2008 Candy Red ST1300
Post by: maninblack_30 on March 13, 2026, 10:09:33 AM
After the Canberra rally, and the idea of heading to next years in SA, with the idea that Sheri and myself ride there, i'm toying with the idea of a post 2006 Goldwing, but there is no way I can have both, I guess I'm sounding out what my ST might be worth, it's a 2008, has latest Helibar riser, otherwise very stock, 76,000 on the clock, looks pretty good, might need a new windscreen as it's a little crazed, passed a Vic RWC with no requirements probably 6 months ago.

Any thoughts/interest appreciated, I love it, but I fear the Goldwing idea has taken hold - but the ST has cemented my love for all things Honda!

Thanks :-)

There's currently 10 ST1300s on bikesales.com.au and you can compare and contrast there.

Probably a realistic price would be around 6.6 to 7.5K. Even in good condition, and low Ks its an old bike.  Even fully kitted out with top extras, it doesnt change the price much, as the new buyer may not want the extras..

Two ST1300's sold in the past 15 months.

On the left, closest to wall - 2011 model, first registered 2011, 70,000km, two previous owners, RWC supplied - $9000 in 2024; on the right - 2011, first registered 2013, 80,000km, original owner, repairable write-off, no RWC supplied - around $3000 less in 2025.

It seems that 2024 was a seller's market, 2025 a buyer's.  Don't know what 2026 is though.
