Have to agree with that, that is why I love my old XL250 Honda for weekend touring.

Likewise, my most recent 250 (a Honda VT250) was light and zippy, fun to ride around town, to and from the shops. The CFMoto, at around 200kg, is fun too, at least compared to the 220kg plus of the ST1300.

As the years advance, my ability to handle the CFMoto's 200kg diminishes, I can see another VT250 (or similar), in my future. Back in 2021, it only cost me around $2000, why, oh why did I sell it!

Plus about 111kg to be accurate for the ST1300.
