hey guys, use to be that if exhaust was white inside engine running great, if black running rich, that still apply with unleaded fuel, inside my exhaust very black :wht11

These days with unleaded fuel, (and all the crap additives that are needed now) all exhausts are black. The white residue was lead oxide I believe.

Have to agree with you Brock, with the additives they put in the fuel you can't read the colour of your exhausts like you use too. :thumb :blk13

Yes, the lead in the fuel gave the white colour. Its a pity 2 strokes have died a bit, as they would have loved unleded fuel.
