I have no words to express exactly what I am feeling having watched that...comments about the number of nuts...or lack thereof, spring to mind but I feel these might be somewhat inappropriate considering the source. Just so wonderfully BAD!!!!!

I'm with Simon- how can you possibly judge THAT!?
It's just not right, is it?
Technically, if you only heard it, it was brilliant.
Watching it coming from a bloke it's...  it's...

Don't you just love it when everybody wants everyone to be the same. So glad I don't live in your worlds.

I thought what I heard was just amazing. When something is great who cares what the experts think.
By the way experts, what I think we heard used to termed "Castrato" They used to castrate boys to get that kind of amazing singing voice for the opera, but it became illigal to castrate maybe Mid 1800's

If somethings great, its great. The only ones who care where it came from are those that want everything to be the way they want it to be. Glad I don't live in their world.

Well I would have to vote with a yes, simply because, I don't have the ability to sing like that, I am pretty good at 2am with about 12 rums under my belt apparently.

Hey Terry, you are right about the Castrato, they were the basis of the Vienna Boys Choir (the most famous choir in the world) for several hundred years, and the most famous Castrato was a guy whose stage name was Farinelli (real name Carlo Maria Michelangelo Nicola Broschi) who lived from 24th January 1705 to the 16th September 1782. There was a movie made about him in 1994. They used to take young boys with very good voices and then castrate them so that their voices didn't drop and they could sing high all their lives...which didn't tend to be too long. Farinelli was an exception in that he lived to be 77 years old, most of the rest died in their late 20's or early 30's.

Cheers

I'm so used to Pavarotti's Nessun dorma that this absolutely blew me away. Brilliant.
