Hi Gavo
I just got a set of UNDER Mirror light brackets from Motorcyclelarry.com For $99.98 plus $35 freight Total $134.98 delivered in 7 days from the USA :thumbs Very well made strong and easy to fit, you do need to cut slots in bottom of the mirror housing :'(
but the supplied templates make that easy. :thumb

Hi Mitch,
I just had a look at site, pity they don't have them for the 1100. Combined light kit looks okay to.

Want to move the HIDs up higher and get a set of LEDs under the mirrors on existing brakets
-
Gavo,
You could always custom make an over under bracket, its not too dificult if you can source the bits. If I had a lathe it would be dead easy to make something.

Just beware of going on too long a bracket, as there are vibration considerations as the arm gets longer.

I gather that's the parts they're calling STAY, R. FR. PATROL and STAY, L. FR. PATROL.
Should be the goods, if they are OEM and support the police lights.

Prossesed and shipped on there way

Let us know how the go.
I see, as one would expect, it's the same part for later year models.
-
I cant see any difference betwwen 04 and 05 so should be ok
-
Mine is an '09. As you say, they look the same in the exploded diagram.

Automotive standard applies even for bikes. It's just not economicly viable to produce parts in small numbers so they carry over until end of a model range, sometimes across different models. (e.g. 1100 drive unit is same as some Goldwings)
Even though the part in question is a lighting mount it will fit all 1300 version fom 2002/3 to 2012. Sometimes they do change part numbers for a different year but it will be superseded by another number and it will be the same part.

Almost sounds sensible.
More sensible than the hundreds of models of cars on the road these days. Must be a parts warehouse nightmare!
