I don't know how far per tank but I can tell you I've averaged 20.6 kls per litre for the last 22,500kls.
All of my riding is on country roads so not a hell of a lot of gear changing, stopping at lights, etc :)

That shows how much we lose to the traffic.  I ride out of town most weekends, but the rest is city riding.  Over the past 24168 km I've averaged only 18.213 km/litre.

That also assumes our riding style is similar.  Your country riding might be a bit slower on the average, where our roads are more open and 100 kph is the norm.  For most vehicles, around 80 kph is the most economical speed.

Difficult to say what my average speed would be..........but, I normally try to sit on the speed limit, if it's 100kph, that's where I'll be (with an occasional burst). Our lowest speed on country roads is 90kph and maximum is 100kph, except going through small towns which can be anywhere between 50 - 70kph (most of the ones I go through are 70kph). Our major highways are mostly 110kph. I would imagine my average to be around 90-95+ but certainly no less!! :)

Welll, seeing as your from Tasmania, I'm guessing you wouldn't know where top gear was, because you wouldn't get to it before hitting another town...huh?...huh?
See what I did there? because, Tas is so small...sigh, forget it
