Hi Turtle, I bought it in April 2010 with just under 10,000 klm on the clock, Done almost 50,000 klm including last years Snowy ride.  :thumbsup
This is one of the smoothest, most comfortable best handling cruisers you can buy. The Engine is a 1500 goldwing motor hotted up by the factory
with higher lift cams, solid lifters and 6 carbies, I've had it Dynoed and it puts out 87hp at the wheel.   :runyay
All the chrome makes it eazy to keep clean.
        :grin :blk13 :grin

Why sell is my question?  I was at the last Snowy Ride and don't remember seeing a Valk.  87HP rear wheel is just a touch below the dyno run on my ST1100, but they are an impressive bike.

 Hi saaz
Since buying the ST in December I havn't been riding the valk much and I need the room in the garage for the Bandicoot.  :fp
I was there in 2011, stayed at the NAVY lodge in Thredbo, spent a fair bit of time up at the bakery.  :eat  :beer  :eat  :beer
                                     :grin :blk13 :grin

They are a great machine. I can't understand why Honda stopped making them. They should have brought out a new Valkyrie instead of the "Fury".... just imagine a 2012 Valkyrie with fuel injected 1800 motor..  :eek  :thumbs .... woohoo what a beast that would've been.

Hi Bikebear
Honda did make a Valkyrie with the 1800 motor, it was called the Honda Rune.  :thumb

Yeah... the Rune was a styling exercise that wasn't really ever going to become a serious touring bike, whereas a proper Valkyrie cruiser with all the mod cons and farkles would have been an awesome bike, especially in the Interstate version.

Mitch, What a beautiful example of my favourite of all cruisers. I too wish honda would release an injected version of this bike with a few extra bells and whistles. If I had the cash and more importantly a signed permission note I would have snapped this up. I'm sure it will make that lucky  someone very happy if not already.
