Since I plan to do a bit of distance work on the bike I decided to get a set of Motorcycle Larry Highway Blades to let the feet have a position change now and then. I'll be taking the bike for a spin tomorrow so we'll see how they go.

they look great! i am still working out whether i should use them or not.
what did they set you back?

Roughly 300 bucks. I've read good reports on them so thought I'd give them a go.

You can't go wrong. They have the added benefit of getting your legs out of the heat in Summer.
Tipsy made his own out of old kettles or something.

And I reckon you should make more and market them through OzSTOC, because they would be every bit as good as the MCL ones,
AND benefit you and OzSTOC
rather than sending work overseas. :thumbsup

Shaun had some on his ST11 at the national meet. On the ST13 the blades do make quite a difference as the feet are quite forward. For some reason on the ST11 the feet do not go near as much forward. Must be the basic positioning of the seat/pegs/wings. Shaun is Diesel size (ie economy size!)

I can still see how it would be nice to be able to move your legs on the ST1100. I know Tipsy wasn't willing to ride home from Blackheath without repairing the one that broke "you-know-when". He reckoned his legs wouldn't have survived the discomfort.

You really are a clever man mr tipsy, I look at my dash shelf that you made me, looks like I will be signing up for some highway pegs, once you have finished a set for yourself :thumb
