Title: I am new
Post by: Darren Anderson on August 17, 2012, 08:31:57 PM
Hello everyone. My name is Darren Anderson and my nick name is Bundy.Iride a 2006 model ST1300 and i tow a cub camper behind her and what agreat job the ST does.I did ride a ST1100 and i was wiped out 6 years ago on it and wrote the bike off and have ridden Goldwings and cruisers after that.I then said well its time to ride the ST again with plenty of grunt great for towing and a very comfortable so how much more can a man ask for well i can answer that ,and thats for a beautifull woman to ride with me and i have one of them to.So i hope my lady and i can join a ride very soon and enjoy meeting new people and making new friends, Till then all stay upright and ride safe and enjoy this great country of ours.

Can't go wrong with a Candy Apply Red (technically called Candy Glory Red).
If you keep your sanity, you'll love it here.  The difficulty is knowing when you've lost it, because nothing seems to change.   :crazy

I try and get away every second week end as i dont have the kids and my lady rides her bike or jumps on the back so my camper is never still much.

:) I can say welcome as well though I am also relatively new to the forum.

I too started riding an ST1100 back in 2002 and the first one lasted me 3 months before a guy in a car decided to re-shape the back- end of it.

I also had a number of Blackbirds from 2003 to 2006 as fun bikes.

These days I am limited to the 1300 which rarely gets to see the bitumen hence Terri and I are looking forward to the Inverell ride.

Cheers

Dennis

G'day Bundy - great to see you back on the ST, and a big welcome to the Home of Aussie ST Riders.      :thumb

You mentioned a no attitude social riding club of yours - we pride ourselves on all being good mates around here too, so make sure you guys get along to one of our rides one day - you'll be most welcome. It's also a great place to walk around 20 other STs and see what mods have been done that might work for you.        :beer

Anyways - hope to see you around.       :thumbsup

Cheers, Diesel

To Dennis - obviously - all the same salutations go to you too my friend.

You'll have a great time at Inverell with this likely lot in both the journey to and from, and the fellowshipping whilst there - but remember - what happens on the road etc etc etc.     :rofl

It'll be great to catch up.

Cheers, Diesel

Except for when awards are being handed out for noteable acts during official rides...good and embarassing....
