Title: What's the collective noun for a group of Honda STs?
Post by: BigTed on September 06, 2012, 02:30:46 PM
It's a herd of cattle, flock of sheep, murder of crows, .... but what about a group Honda STs?

I'll start with a few suggestions:
- a hum of Honda STs
- a gang of Honda STs
- a roar of Honda STs
- a swoosh of Honda STs
- a whisper of Honda STs (my favourite)
- a cavalry of Honda STs
- a parade

and of course...
- a good day out!

Any thoughts?

I have no idea where this is... I assume Spain or Portugal...

There are a few ring-ins so I might have counted a Beamer or a Yammy by accident, but I reckon there's about 33. Is it typical for a Goldwing to be driven "hands-free"?

What about a 'whine' of STs, as most of them do that when going slowly.

At least they kept the ring-ins mostly together.  The rest make a formidable cavalcade.
Of course you can ride a Wing handsfree.  They have cruise control and inertial navigation!

I'm voting for a whisper of STs.

As opposed to the horrible rumble of the photographer's bike.

So after all these suggestions, what is the verdict? What do we call a group of STs? Do we need to have a vote on it, or jusy agree?

All good sugestions so far.  :thumb I do think that what ever the final answer is that it needs to have the letters ST in it somewhere.

Any Star Trek fans

How about a "collective", don't we share knowledge and react as a group like The Borg.

When the beaSTs are parked and resting they are:

     a STable of STeeds;

But when let loose upon the highway they are:

    a STampede of STallions.
