Anybody looked at the Site Visitors log on the Home Page for today?????

it blew me away this morning when i got up, it amazes me all of the fantastic people we have here, and who read and take on board, and contribute around here  :thumb

I keep on getting so many new member messages that I struggle to keep on top of greeting everyone!  I will take this weekend as a quiet time to get up to speed on the member map to see where the hot spots are for organising rides.

Yeah - I just caught a gander at the Member Map and we have Friends EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make sure you take a bo peep at who is in your area - it may be one of the great coffee breaks you go for!!       :thumb

Talking about that.
Do we have a members assistance list which details such things as other members phone contact numbers ,and what type of assistance etc like tools , trailer availability for a bike pick up,emergency accomadation, and or help in the case of an unfortunate breakdown or worse still an accident etc.
Would this be something to seriously think about and or initate.

I seem to remember that this has been suggested before and whilst it generated a bit of comment it fizzled out to nothing. Maybe we should try again? Anyone interested. or is this too much an intrusion into peoples privacy?

With regard to the site stats, to put this in perspective, my colleague, who is a member of the VT owners club (a very popular bike!) was completely gob-smacked when I told him our figures and says that the most they have had on their site at ANY time is 43, and 8 of those were guests!
