As you know, there are NO FEES in being associated with OzSTOC for your Membership - or attending RTEs or OzSTOC Rallies - or anything else for that matter - and that’s the way we want to keep it.
In saying that - there are costs that OzSTOC has to (and wants to) bear each year as outlined below:
- website hosting costs
- website update and bandwidth costs
- search engine optimization upgrade
- Paypal fees
- printing/distribution costs for OzSTOC cards
- Ozstoc banners & flags
- subsidising the OzSTOC shirt production (embroidery, patch and despatch) etc
- subsidising the costs borne by members for OzSTOC biz
- covering the cost of annual State by State OzSTOC Xmas BBQs and Functions
- Brock’s ENORMOUS remuneration package & salary
- other associated OzSTOC costs
The way we keep online and on the air is to once a year, hand the hat around to Members to see if they’ve got a lazy $10 or $20 to contribute to help with these costs.
We don’t expect anything - but in past years, Members have been only too willing to help “keep the lights on” with the website.
It is all anonymous and non-compulsory - but if you reckon you’ve got 20 bucks worth of laughs, knowledge, fantastic outings, or great links to businesses and suppliers - then this is the opportunity to help out.
We are non-profit, so all the $$$ goes back to OzSTOC in various ways (dammit!)

I will back up Diesel here and say this is by no means compulsory, if you feel you have gotten something out of the group and want to give something back, then drop a couple of dollars to the group
There will be no list your donation the the group will be as anonymous as you want it to be.

When you go into paypal you get to specify to who the payment goes - that is when you put in the email address - it should be recognized as a valid paypay account to which you can make a payment.

worked fine for me, just select "Gift" then it assumes that the email address is the one getting the gift.

Whatever anyone put forward to the group was more than enough, sorry if it felt like it was different, thats why we really pushed the "give whatever your comfortable with" as it is your choice, we are just lucky to have a fantastic group of people including yourself who felt like that got something out of the group and gave back to it :thumbsup if it was not for all of you we would not have all the fantastic things that the group uses to keep functioning :)
