Unless I've got an aged related sight challenging issue I couldn't see "Bill Haley" and "Chubby Checker" in your list.
-
I'm just an old "Rockabilly" bloke, so Jerry Lee Lewis is the go, and I can't go past BB King did put the K in "Kool"
But in 1975 I did see ACDC in a pub lounge and have seen Bruce Springsteen Live, but

:grin :grin One thing I did forget to mention is the 2 types of music that I dont listen to is punk rock & rap so they wont be going in the downloads.
Chubby Checker was there I just forgot to include the name and now have Bill Haley just have to convert from Flac to mp3. which is easy
Will look into others.
Song Count Stands @ 8611

Tipsy,
I just had a look at my music folder to see how much is in there and it's about 43GB and that includes some cassette tapes (in the process of doing) that I've converted to mp3.
Between the two of us, Heather and I would have 80 percent of what's in your list. I also have the Time Life "The Rock 'n' Roll Era" set which has 36 cds from 1955 to 1964.
Maybe some artists/tracks you don't have we might have.

:wht11 py
Mine only stands @ 34.62 g at the moment but getting there.
I do remove duplicate songs from the same artist.
as most tapes cd's etc repeat songs on each recording.

Any suggestions for some good sites that you don't have to register on where you can download music for free
-
torrentz
and use kat/kickass/ for free dont install or download ilivid as like some others it takes over your Utorrent program,
-
Just be careful what you post in this regard folks, We dont want to be promoting illegal activities.

Ahhhh so true??? All music downloaded is yours for free as long as you don't use the music for profit, unlike manufacturing a direct copy of a product and then selling it for a profit. You can basically do what you want, copy what you want, make what you want as long as its not for profit or promotion.
Well that's what I reckon?

Hmmmmm ladies wearing stocking with seams, and all dressed up so fine, :thumb
Wallets with chains attached, cuffed Levis and a fine pair of boots, and if you still have hair its slicked back with a quiff :thumbsup
And sweet thangs, inviting you to hold on to them for a few minutes at a time under the disguise of asking you for a dance
Yeap off to a Rockabilly Gig tonight to see the Atomic Hi-tones in Brisbane.
And the lead singer goes by the name of Cliff and when he turned fifty decided to be a singer in a Rockabilly Band. Now how kool is that :thumbs
Klick the link to see and here what I do instead of playing, watching and talking about sport or getting pissed at a pub or a club :rofl :crackup :crackup :crackup :crackup
Yeap had a life of it. Maybe that's why I still feel like I'm 18 and just borrowed the old mans car to take the girl to the Drive Inn :runyay

Well some people still do have a life?????
Last night a quick 100 kays on the bike to a Gig.
Spent the night with great people, great music (Rockabilly) surrounded by oh so fine ladies and a hell of a lot of people just Rockin.
Trouble was that all night them bloody women kept grabbing me for a dance? and then proceeded to rub emselves up against me, at times showing me and the world what they had to offer :thumb and none of it was alcohol induced :thumbsup
And just think if I was a sportsman I could of been in the pub or club, sipping a beer and watching replays on the TV and telling all those that could hear how good I used to be :rofl
But being a person not interested in anything competitive I just went out and had a great time, that I didn't have to spend a lifetime training for :crackup :crackup :crackup :crackup :crackup :crackup :crackup :crackup
And if you cant tell??????? I think and know that sport sucks
