My grandfather used to deliver Milk out of a Sidecar attached to a JD Harley in the 1920's in Ballarat. Had enough room for 2 milk cans and flogged it out a Billy at a time. Told me no one had a car then and tradesman had bikes with sidecars on em with all their gear in em.
For me a bike with the traditional sidecar on it still looks kool

My father had a Panther sloper (it replaced a BSA sloper) that he put a chair on when he got married.  Eventually had to get a car when kids came along. Unfortunately he sold the Panther  :'( as he thought it was too heavy to go around the paddocks on the dairy farm. I supposed it would have been destroyed before I was even old enough to have a go.

I remember when I visited my grandmother in Hamilton (Vic) in the late 60s that the butcher and milkman still used a horse and cart. The horses knew where to go so stopped and started while things were delivered.  Gee, makes me feel a bit old!

The Hannigan side car is only $6000, in the states. With fitting being $750. They have a lot of features.

Some thing special about a bit on the side I've ridden a few & it sure is different
