So as I make the transition from ST1100 to the 1300 I will have lots of questions to ask those who a have a well worn path on ST1300 knowledge, so thought I would start a thread to make it easy for me to refer to.....so be gentle on me and use little words !!!!
(I have ordered the workshop manual)
1. so previous owner has installed 65/55 watt H4's....is the standard 1300 loom happy with that ???
2. Previous owner made a bit of a mess of re-installing the headstream Honda cap after adding GenMar risers, is their a "bit" to buy or not buy to replace the honda part or add ram ball for GPS ?? Gen111 plate not yet ruled out....but want to try the Genmars first.
3. Any experience on the Genmars adding bar flex apposed to a riser plate ?
4. What fuse block have people bought and had the most success with for farkles of ignition and where did you mount ??
Thanks for replies guys......

First off, the workshop manual is FREE. There is a link in the 1300 section.
Stop looking, I found it. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/43841212/Honda%20st1300%20workshop%20manual%2003.pdf (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/43841212/Honda%20st1300%20workshop%20manual%2003.pdf)
This might work better. http://ozstoc.com/index.php?topic=407.0 (http://ozstoc.com/index.php?topic=407.0)
There shouldn't be any hassles with 65/55 headlights. Refer to numerous posts about headlights and HID conversions.
Number 2.
With MCL or Helibar risers, the centre comes with the risers. Although MCL do have a plate that goes between the bars with a ball mount.

I have raisers on mine and there is a bit of flex, it is not excessive by any means.
Number 4.
MCL have fuse boxes, ask Gavo about his. I used a 6 fuse box from Jaycar, which I put into the duck tail, on top of my radio. Then made a lead straight from the battery to the fuse box. This powers my lighting, horn and power sockets, with two spares for the future.
The choice is yours. Everyone will have different ideas. Not good, not bad, just different.
