Title: New noise toy.

Just got a Stebel Nautilus from ebay. Tested it on a car battery, but dont worry, yhe hearing in my left ear should be back in a week or two. Now to mount it some where.

Put one on the 1300 last week.......DAAAAMMMM !!!! Mounted same place as original horn with minor existing bracket modification and used a 30amp relay...Horn $55 delivered from ebay.

When I tried to find a place on my ST1100 I ended up putting the compressor in the LH pocket and the horn under the front headlight attached to the black plastic insert.  I could find nowhere under the plastic to put the whole unit.
The two parts can be easily linked with a bit of clear plastic tubing, IIRC 1/4" ID.

Yhe plastic tube looks like it would fit around the fork leg, I wonder if that would help the sound get out  :grin :grin :grin

You could mount the compressor in the side pocket and leave the horn on the bench at home and still be impressed how loud it is........as long as your connection tube was long enough !!!!
