I use the FW1 Cleaning Wax we've talked about elsewhere.
If you have tar spots, you'll need to hit them with a specific tar remover. Or I think turps is a solvent for it.
I reckon rims are one thing you need to keep clean. If you let them get neglected, they never really come good. Ditto the front forks- the non-chromed part especially.

For not only wheels but anything with brake dust, road grim, and light grease....."Shift It" buy it in a 5 ltr container for about $25....and decant into sprayer.

Still has Sodium Hydroxide in it which is caustic soda. I'd be carefull on ST's painted rims.

Mine have had the paint removed and have been been polished except for the middle so I use a couple of different polishes to get them shining.. after I finish they look like mirrors spinning.. :thumbs :thumbs

True enough.....less than 5% undiluted.....when diluted to 5 to 1 about 1%.... My brother-in-law a Spray Painter/ Panel beater put me onto it years ago, been very effective used within manufactures specs on everything from Cars, Bikes, boats, BBQ and carpet stains.
Cheers
