I carry...
Additional tool kit, (allen keys, ratched ring spanners, small socket set, screw drivers),
Spare fairing screws and fixers, (both metal and plastic)
masking and gaffer tape,
Air Compressor,
Tyre plugger, and
Jumpstarter battery (connects through a 12v cigarette lighter socket I installed in the RH fairing pocket hard wired to the battery).
All have been used, mostly on other bikes...
And with the UHF and FM radios, 7" tablet, helmet POV camera, iPod, iPhone, etc you can see how I got my nickname GoGo - as in GoGo Gadget!!

Thanks everyone for your posts, it's given me some ideas of what to include in my gear.
Some of will need to avoid the scalies. :cop If you have problems pulling up under brakes .. Um.. It's cause your carrying 10 tonne of gear and farkles. >:()

Even riding two-up with fully loaded trailer, spare fuel in side cases and the top case loaded with assorted at hand stuff the 1100 will still pull up rather quickly if the need arises.
