Title: How I pack my panniers
Post by: StinkyPete on November 12, 2012, 07:05:36 AM
This is how I fit my my stuff into the panniers when I'm camping with the ST.    Left side holds spare goves, waterproofs, jacket liner, clothes in a sleeping bag compression bag which saves lots of space, first aid kit, toiletries and chargers for electrical stuff.    Right side holds my Gobi tent, shoes and thongs.   Sleeping mat and sleeping bag are rolled up in an AndyStrapz Stuff Sakz, and my Kermit Chair straps across the back seat as well.   Top Box holds my JetBoil cooker and spare gas bottle, tucker, maps and has plenty of unused space for whatever else seems to accumulate.   This minimal set up has evolved over a number of long trips, and suits me very well.

It's a Black Wolf dome tent.   http://www.blackwolf.com.au/product/Gobi/119 (http://www.blackwolf.com.au/product/Gobi/119)
I like the quality of Black Wolf products, and also have one of their TurboTents for when we're 4WD touring.
