Title: Back in the saddle
Post by: TheMechwarrior on November 16, 2012, 09:39:26 AM
Well,

It's now 2 weeks since I first hopped onto the 2003 ST1100PY.
I've just clocked up my first 2,000km of riding following a 15 year absence.

I'm starting to get a lot more comfortable with myself and the bike as a couple following a nervous start to the relationship.

Riding to work (128km) every day is helping but I feel it wouldn't hurt to attend an advanced riding course or 2, just found a couple down here so I'll sign up for a "refresher". Would love to put the ST through the slalom runs, race track, emergency breaking, corner work etc.

Out of interest to some I just found pictures of every bike I've built/owned last night, I completely forgot about the old hard-tail chopper 750/4. Will scan them and post them each with a little story.

Good on you, had a 750/4 K2 a long time back, i would like to get hold of one again as I reckon it was a great bike.
