Today is my wedding anniversary and ......... my wife forgot.
No big deal as we've got 4 kids, 1 @ 14 old and 3 @ 12 old so I fully understand as our day to day life just happens and I have learnt to expect it to change each morning as the day begins.
I think I've scored a few brownie points today but never having been in this fortunate position before I don't want to waste the position I'm in.
I've thought that I might appreciate an open ended leave pass but I've sort of got that for the asking, a new CB radio as my current one has recently failed, or a better Starcom intercom and then I thought I might ask that Karen comes with me to the upcoming National Rally 2013.
Don't be backward in coming forward

To hell with the Farkles (did I just say that?) get your wife to hop on the back and share your passion, it takes two to tango and it's much more fun in company!!! :wink1 :wink1 :wink1

I think my anniversary is today as well. We both forgot till a card arrived from my mum n Dad. Its only been 28 yrs. ( I tend to forget my birthday as well.)

It's a no brainer that i'd approach Dale for comms gear but I think Whizz has got the right idea.

Go with Dale setting you up with a cheaper UHF handheld and a Starcom/Bikercom with 2 headsets and take Karen to Middelton.....now with the intercom you can reminder her constantly during the entire trip that SHE forgot your anniversary.
Cheers
