Pete, hope you don't mind me asking you what you think of the Delkevic mufflers. I am not interested in the new - old pipes as I have just bought a new ST 1300. I have been looking at the Delkevics on the net but I am leaning towards the Staintunes. Yes I know they are dear but great quality. Thanks mate........Steve.

I put the Delkavics on my 08 1300 a few months ago ( the carbon fibre ones ) and could not be happier . While not to loud it now sounds like a motor bike should , I did take out the baffles that are very easily removed .
I purchased them from the States with no hassles at all.

Kingy, I have a set of Two Brothers carbon on my bike. I got them from the U.S. Delivered here alot cheaper than what I could get them in Aust. I have a friend who has s.tune on his 1300 and mine have a deeper rumble . I thought the s.tune sounded a bit tinny . :blk13

I also have a set of Two Brothers and find they make a gr8 sporty sound without being too loud. Gr8 deceleration blat-blat sound as well. At night can throw out a small blue flame on deceleration that makes Dragon 1300 very happy. Don't know how much they cost - came with purchase.

I made the descion to buy them from the USA , I simply looked up delkavic USA on google and purchased them on line. They arrived in perfect condition within 7 days , although you can purchase them here I believe, I found it more cost affective to Deal with the manufacture in the States even with freight.
I chose the carbon fibre ones , I believe the stainless steel ones are cheaper. Had them on for 6 months now and very happy with the result, very easy to fit also.

I have lost the paperwork on the purchase, but I just went out and measured the length of the exhaust section and it is 18inches ( the yanks still use the old system) and Im pretty sure thats the one you will need.
If you need any other measurments give me a yell.

Thanks Rob, just one further question......did you need to change/replace the gasket, and if so did they supply a replacement??

No, from memory the new pipes just clamped on to the bikes exhaust pipe after I took the original pipes off, nothing else was required .
