Title: ST1300 Fairing Kits
Post by: TheMechwarrior on November 28, 2012, 08:19:54 PM
Not sure if any of you are aware these are available:
http://www.dhgate.com/wholesale/search.do?act=search&sus=&searchkey=st1300+fairing+kit&catalog= (http://www.dhgate.com/wholesale/search.do?act=search&sus=&searchkey=st1300+fairing+kit&catalog=)

http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?SearchText=st1300+fairing+kit&catId=0&manual=y (http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?SearchText=st1300+fairing+kit&catId=0&manual=y)

The reason I know this is because when I first started looking for a rolling chassis for an electric motorcycle project the first requirement was that there were cheap aftermarket fairing kits available ex China.
In the end I decided not to do the electric bike and instead got myself the ST1100...no cheap fairing kits fo this girl >:(

Happy shopping.

Cheers,

Mech.

I think ST Ray looked into something similar, and found they had a rep for poor quality, finish and fit.

If any of the fairings I've bought from China are anything to go by - theres nothing like OEM :D

Or as expensive

I also looked at getting OEM panels from the states, prices were very good ( compared to AUS ) until freight was added, OUCH!!! :H
